The prestigious buildings are located near the Siófok Train Station, between Isztria Promenade and Petőfi Promenade, in a beautiful setting by Lake Balaton.
After World War II, the complex operated as the Bányász Resort, and after a complete renovation, it became the Siófok Training Center of Kodolányi János College in 2001. The former hotel currently serves educational purposes and has been the campus of Gábor Dénes College since September 2016. On the side of the building, there is a bronze plaque commemorating József Attila's visit during the Balaton Writers' Week held here in 1932.
