In the present day, regular and pleasure boat trips depart from the Siófok harbor. Rentable pleasure boats and evening party boats are particularly popular. In the small park in front of the harbor building, monuments were erected to commemorate the 100th, 125th, and 150th years of Lake Balaton navigation. On the western side of the harbor, the city's two newer landmarks, the sailing harbor and Yacht Club, as well as the meteorological station, were built. The meteorological station is among the first to inform us about approaching storms.

At the end of the eastern pier, there is a gilded angel sculpture holding a dove, symbolizing peace, friendship, and harmony. The artwork, created by Russian sculptor Pjotr Tyimofejevics Sztronszkij, was unveiled on September 5-7, 2012, during the 6th World Congress of Finno-Ugric Peoples held in Siófok. The sculpture is a joint gift from several organizations in Russia to the city of Siófok.

The Lake Balaton navigation season traditionally starts at Easter and lasts until the end of October every year. It is also worth visiting the Siófok harbor during winter because most of the Lake Balaton passenger ships are docked here during the off-season. In 2021, Lake Balaton navigation celebrates its 175th anniversary.
