Hungary's largest private mineral collection opened its doors in June 1986. The collection, located on Kálmán Imre Promenade, is protected by the state. Visitors can view approximately 3,000 minerals displayed in 54 showcases across five rooms. The minerals are organized based on their origin, including those from Hungary, around the world, the Slovakian region of Felvidék, Kapnikbánya, and other locations in Transylvania. The exhibition is unique on a global scale in terms of the minerals originating from the territory of Transylvania.

The owner of the collection has been gathering minerals from the historical territory of Hungary for over 30 years. During this time, they have amassed over ten thousand minerals, with a portion of them on display in the Siófok exhibition.
