DreamWorks Animation Motion Picture's world-famous film, Madagascar, now conquers the stage and the hearts of audiences in musical form. Alex the lion, king of the urban jungle, and his friends – Marty the zebra, Gloria the hippo, and Melman the giraffe – leave behind the Central Park Zoo in New York on an exciting and funny adventure. They find themselves on the exotic island of Madagascar, where they must realize that it's not so easy to thrive in a real jungle. This is a joyful and spectacular musical about true friendship and the power of belonging, which can be a helpful companion even in the most unexpected situations.
